Over the past few months it’s been difficult to select Editor’s Pick since the number of websites have decreased. So I’ve decided to create a new category called Editor’s Pick. This will allow me to select a website at any time instead of doing it monthly. This will also make it easier to organize and link to by category instead of listing links monthly. Enjoy!

Unexpected downtime

If you happen to visit the site within the past few days, you may have noticed it was missing. There was a corrupt table within the database and as soon as that was repaired we were back up and running. We apologize for the downtime.

Search For Soccer turns 1!

On March 4, 2009, Search For Soccer was born. It’s goal: to provide you with a database of all things soccer and the ability to easily search that database. Today, Search For Soccer turns 1 and we believe we are continuing to meet our goal! The site has grown to well over 500 websites with no signs of stopping. We have organized websites into 12 categories and multiple tags, which help filter your search. We continue to improve our site with new features, but we appreciate feedback on what we can do to further improve your experience with our site. We thank you for your continued loyalty and support and look forward to the future!

January 2010 brought the new ratings feature! It also brought a nice listing of websites! So without further ado, here is my Editor’s Pick for January 2010!

Search For Soccer now has a ratings feature where you can rate each site! Before you rate a site, please visit the site first and take a look around. If you like what you see, give it a higher rating. If it’s not up to your standards, give it a lower rating.

The ratings option is available throughout the site. However, if you’re looking to quickly visit and rate each site, I suggest using the database listing page, where our entire database is listed in alphabetical order. You can click on the link icon, visit the site, and then rate the site.
